First Day of School

The 19th was the first day of school for Trace as a first grader. Here is a picture of him right before we left for school. MacKelle had to get her backpack and be "ready" too.
The other day we came home and found a box sitting by the door for MacKelle. She opened it up and there were some b-day gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Moss and Aunt Kylee. MacKelle was so excited, she changed into the new skirt immediately (that Grandma made-so cute!) She was so excited about the clothes, she didn't realize that there was more in the box until about 10 min later. Here she is with her new things-she wanted to show Grandma and Grandpa and Kylee how cute she looked Ü. Oh, and she wore the skirt again the next day! She loves it!

Happy Birthday MacKelle!!!

Yesterday was MacKelle's 4th birthday. All day long she waited and waited for her birthday party. She was as patient as a 4 year old can be. Finally 6:00 arrived and the party began! When preparing for her birthday, I decided to serve her favorite meal. When I asked her what that was she told me "Cereal". I thought that may leave guests a little confused so I asked her what her next favorite meal was and she told me hot dogs, so that is what we had.

Here is Mason and Landon checking eachother out at the party.
They were so cute together, I don't think Mason knew what to think-someone else that is his size!

The guests had a blast, as you can see Ü. Actually, this is Madeline after a run in with Keylee, but the picture was so cute I had to post it!

Here is Keylee, Another cute shot (come on, all our kids do it Ü)!

MacKelle LOVES, LOVES, LOVES princesses and anything girly! Her favorite princess is Ariel (at least for now) so that is what she wanted for her birthday cake. She is wearing a new birthday dress in this picture. (I let her open one present before her party).

Here she is after blowing out candles-isn't she cute!?! She really is our princess!

Here she is blowing out the candles (note the anxious expressions on all their faces).

This is a great action shot of MacKelle opening her presents. (Those are the only shots you can really get because it is so fast and action packed.)

MacKelle really wanted to paint faces, which we forgot to do until after her party was basically over, but better late than never.

Grandma and Grandpa Moss

My pictures are all out of order, but here is MacKelle on the train. Once we got going, a few miles out the train stopped. I guess the night before a big storm came through and they said that the track was under about 4 feet of mountain, so we had to turn around and come back. The train attendants said that that has never happened before. It was still fun, but MacKelle was sad that we had to turn around so quickly. Here she is looking out the window pouting a little over our short trip.
Trace and I on our train ride.

After our ride, we got ice cream, and we couldn't resist another photo op, with the hats matching the wall, cool, huh?

Here is a pic of us after our train ride-Love the Hats!!

I love this picture! I think he looks so cute in that hat!

This picture turned out kinda dark, but we had to get some with the boys. One side of the train has booths and the other side had at counter-like table that went down the side with chairs (Like bar seating, but not as tall), so you're sitting facing the windows.

Kylee, Dena, and MacKelle looking lovely!

When we went up to the Lady of the Rockies, there was a chapel with walls that had women's names on them (a tribute to women).

This was up at the Lady of the Rockies statue, below you can kinda see Butte MT.

Here are the kids with the Lady of the Rockies (a good nostril shot of everyone)

This is looking down at the Butte area. We were at the very top of the Mountain. Notice the little chipmunk admiring the view too!

Here she is again. It is a statue of Mary, the mother of Jesus. If you drive on I-15 through Butte, you can see her up on the mountain.

But to get up there, some of the roads were a bit treacherous (I was terrified! Most of the time there was strait up the mountain on one side, and strait down on the other) It was an adventure!

We rode a school bus on the way there and back, here is Justin and Paul.

MacKelle was really excited to ride a school bus for the first time.

We stayed at Fairmont Hot springs resort, the pools and room were awesome. I loved that the water was so warm. The kids loved it, Mason too!

I think they would've swam every day all day if they could. They sure slept good once we got them in bed. (Except Mason, who decided that he didn't want to miss a thing and didn't want to sleep much at all-sorry to all of you who had to share a room with us Ü)

Grandma and Grandpa Mack's

Isn't this a pretty Montana sunset!?!

Trace the great hunter caught a grasshopper.

The cousins having a bath in Grandma and Grandpa's giant jetted tub!!

We had a blast hanging out with my parents, we had so much fun that Mason konked out and looked soooo cute cuddling with my mom!

The property behind my parent's back yard has some buffalo, so the kids loved feeding them through the fence.

Here are some of the cousins: MacKelle, Ally, and Diego.

Some of the buffalos. I think it is funny that we drive to Yellowstone to see them, but my parents have them just hanging out in their back yard practically.

Here is mom playing with Mase. It is always fun to see them together!
