Three Months!

Mason is now 3 months old!! Wow, how quick it goes!

Here is another with all the kids. You can't tell they're siblings or anything, huh?

Mason is also smiling a lot more now. I still haven't taken a really good picture of him smiling, but it is so sweet. In this picture he was looking over at Trace and smiling. Mason is growing quickly. He is now 13 pounds. He is talking all kinds of baby talk-coos and giggles. We're just loving him in our family.

Easy Recipe

In delayed response to Bobi's challange here is my simple recipe. I use this recipe for Pitas (roll flat and bake @450 on a hot cookie sheet or baking stone for about 3 min each), Pizza (top with sauce and fav topings), pretzels (roll in long rope and twist in pretzel shape and dip in baking soda water, sprinkle with salt and bake @400 for about 10 min or done brush with butter), and breadsticks (roll flat & brush with melted butter, sprinkle parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, parsley, etc. and cut with pizza cutter in long strips. Bake at 400 for about 15 min. immediatley out of oven brush with more melted butter-yum)

2 Cup water
1 Tbsp Yeast
1 Tbsp Sugar
2 tsp salt
4-5 Cups flour

Add first four ingredients into bowl. Gradually add flour until slightly sticky, kneading for about 5 min. Let rise and use as directed above. You don't have to let it rise a second time after shaping, except with the pretels.

Let's Party!

Last Friday Trace had a party at school. MacKelle was kinda sad that he gets to have all the fun. So we had a little "Party" at our house. We had Tyson and Keylee over and they played some games and had some cookies, made party hats, and decorated a bag. It was really more of a play date, but I think that MacKelle had fun.

Unattended Camera

Our floor/trim in our basement-EXCITING!!

MacKelle's Chin-our "Monalisa"

Trace and Squashy, what were you doin' Trace? You look very relaxed!

This is what happens if you happen to leave your camera around and MacKelle finds it. There are about 20 more similar pictures like this on my camera. It was a cute little suprise when I was looking at my camera. I guess this is what MacKelle finds photo-worthy. I remember as a kid once my mom let me take pictures of anything I wanted (pre-digital photo days, what was she thinking??). We lived on a farm at the time and I took a bunch of pictures of some chickens. I thought it was wonderful! Good times.

Great Weekend

This weekend we had lots of fun. We went to Justin's Baseball game up at the school and most of the time we ended up at the playground. Trace and MacKelle LOVE playing with their friends.
We did however see Justin for a few minutes at the game. Doesn't he look cute in his uniform??

Saturday morning we went to an Easter egg hunt at the fairgrounds. Here is a picture of MacKelle and one of her good friends-Braydan. Trace and MacKelle got a TON of eggs and even each had an easter egg with a prize. MacKelle won a baseball, and Trace won a pink jumprope. They probably should've traded, but I don't think they will-yet.

My parents came down this weekend too. My dad had never met Mason yet. He was having some back problems when everyone else came down for his baby blessing. It was fun to see them together. Mason really liked my dad and gave him lots of smiles. They were here from Thursday to Sat. morning. From here they left to Utah to visit Hillary and Del for Easter and see the house they are planning on buying. They are coming back to Idaho on Monday and will stay with us one more night before returning home to Montana.

Couponing

Today was my second trip to town to do some couponing. I just LOVE it!! I got all of these items for $42 and I am going to be getting $8 back in rebates from Walgreens. Just in case you can't tell what I got, I got 6 pkg. Diapers, 3 cans Oust spray disinfectant, 4 tubes of Colgate Total toothpaste, 15 boxes of jello, 4 bags of Hersheys candy, 3 pkg of seeds, 2 bottles of dish soap,
birthday candles, aluminum foil, 2 bags grapes, 2 pkg of toilet paper, 1 bag powdered sugar, & 1 bag chocolate chips. So after rebates I will have gotten all this for $34. Pretty cool, huh??

Who Loves Jack Bauer??

We DO!! This is a picture of our weekly "24" party that we have every Monday night: Riley, Jenny, Justin, Me, Mason, Wendy, and Bryan. The Jemmetts were kind enough to lend us season 1-6 on DVD and to get us hooked on Jack Bauer. So we get together to watch season 7 or is it 8?? I can't remember. Anyway, it is a blast with lots of fun discussions on who is going to get killed off, who is secretly a bad guy, and lots of food-the way I like it :). The worst part is having to wait a whole week to see what happens next. Ya get spoiled when you have the whole season at a time.

Me and Mase

I realized that I don't have any pictures of me with Mason except at the hospital, and I haven't made the blog yet, so-here I am! The tiredness in my face is due to the cute little man on the right (and totally worth it). Aren't you just lovin' his crazy hair??

Friends

MacKelle doesn't always get to play with her friends because several live a little farther away, but when she does she is SOOOO happy. These are pics of MacKelle and Grace, one of MacKelle's favorite friends. They are so cute together.

Happy Birthday Jeff Hani!

These guys are playing frisbee golf. It is kinda hard to show becasue the "hole" is on the other
side of the gym.

Friday night was Jeff Hanni's birthday. We went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse (Yum!!) and when we got back to Mud Lake we went to the gym and went bowling and played frisbee golf. It was fun! Afterwards Trace kept talking about frisbee golf and wants to buy stuff so he can play it all the time!

GO GRIZZ!

This pic is for the Missoula Moss'. Here is Mason all Grizzed out. He was a little too tired to wake up for picture time, but I just had to show you how cute he looked. By the way, I still don't know how to rotate pictures.

MORE COOKIES!?

Here are some more sugar cookies! I LOVE cookies! These were for a friend who turned 50 this last week. This was also my first try at a cookie bouquet. The trick is to insert your sticks before you bake your cookie. Also, I should've had a longer box to put them in so I could've spread them out more, making it easier to read, but I still think it turned out cute.
